Environmental Pride?

This annual competition is organised by the Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife Magazine, two UK institutions that "pride themselves on revealing and championing the diversity of life on Earth" according to their website.

If that is the case then the NHM shouldn't be accepting sponsorship from Shell - after all Peace News doesn't take funding from Raytheon; Pretending that WDM's are for defence is the same as maintaining that Shell is working for the benefit of the environment and not using cultural institutions for acceptance, greenwash and acess to London's political, corporate and media' elite (sic )'.

Welcome to the world of PFI / PPP- from dodgy knighthoods to wrecking schools, housing ( of which we have enough 'empties' already ), hospitals for profit and power. To a world where the public's vote means litle:- the corporations are pulling the strings of the poltiical elite with money and culture. i.e hegemony!

Shell's history is bound up in violence, oil war, deceit, and environmental destruction. Would you accept their dirty marketing cash?
